Hey everyone! Heads up!! There's some spam emails going around with my company name and my online scheduling company's name. If you receive an email saying "Your appointment time has been changed with Joshua Tree Massage Therapy", please delete it, it's SPAM! I will NEVER send an email changing your appointment. I will always call or text if I ever need to change any appt times. So either delete or better yet, flag the email as spam and then delete it. Thanks! Also, having a lot of issues with Sasktel email accounts in terms of receiving my email receipts. Sasktel is bouncing them out of inbox and sometimes your spam/junk folders too. Hello my wonderful clients! I hope everyone is staying safe and warm these days...we're almost through this cold snap! As my sister says, it makes us Saskatchewan tough lol I'm posting this to let you know I am slightly decreasing my availability in the clinic. Years of work in this profession have taken their toll on me. I've eliminated mostly morning appt's so that I can still offer a 4:30pm slot, as they're the most desired. I do ask that if you can come at ANY other time ...than 4:30pm for your massage, please do so. This space of time is sometimes the ONLY time a lot of clients can be here to receive their much needed treatments. I do have the best clients so I know everyone will be mindful of this going forward! You may notice even this schedule will move around a bit as I schedule myself in for treatments that I must travel for, which means more time away from the clinic. Please be patient with me and I'm sorry for the inconvenience in advance! I always try my best to accommodate everyone but it doesn't always fall in place unfortunately. There are plenty of openings available during the week. If you do not feel comfortable holding your appointment due to COVID concerns, I'm ok with that. Hello everyone! Hope everyone is still in Saskatchewan after all these gale force winds!! Ugh So I have my schedule up and ready for the summer! Yay! Here is what it looks like: Monday's 12:30 - 8:00pm... Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday's 10:00am - 5:30pm Friday's 10:00am - 3:30pm Now I've decided to make booking times pretty consistent for everyone's convenience. All appt's are geared toward 60 minutes as that is the most commonly booked time. 30 and 45 minutes are easily booked in these slot times as you will see. The exceptions here are 75 and 90 minutes. If you would like to book those, please let me know as they need to be put in where time allows. They're just a tad more tricky with COVID restrictions and regulations I also want to clarify a few things that seem to be repetitive. Soap Vault isn't there for just booking appointments. It's there for changing appt's too. Changing the time or date if you need to. Also it's there for CANCELING. Instead of messaging me to tell me you need to cancel, please go online and cancel. It's just as easy as booking! The only time you need to notify me is if you're wanting to cancel under the 24 hour cancellation policy. Sick? No charge I carve out this time just for you and I always hold that time JUST FOR YOU, please do the same for me. Pretty much the only time I will cancel will be if I'm sick or an emergency. With summer upon us, I find no-show's more common...along with "I have too much to do...it's too nice outside...short notice, I have company coming or just showed up on my doorstep". Please be considerate of my business policies this summer everyone! This is my livelihood Thanks to everyone for being so great with all these new rules and regulations! For sanitizing your hands when you get here, no longer entering my living space, arriving on time, wearing masks...seriously, you guys are the BOMB!! Every little thing you do makes my work so much easier, thank you Thank you for supporting this little business of mine, especially now. I can't explain how happy you guys make me!!! I decided during my COVID-19 shutdown to try and find less product in my life and more sustainable items. Fabric softener! I use lots of it with my clinic linens. And I also noticed my linens were more dry and scratchy over time despite using a good, environmentally friendly, natural softener. So I began, the Google search! Local and Canadian were topping the list. This little company! The General Bean is a small company from Calgary that sources local to produce their merch...andise. These 100% natural wool balls are amazing guys!!! I have reduced my dryer time substantially, my clothes and linens are starting to feel soft again and 100% static free!! The softener "build up" that I didn't realize was there, is slowing being washed out. My fabrics feel like fabrics should. And people, these balls are big lol. Like big softball size. I ordered 3 for maximum drying and a darker wool color to easily find amongst my white linens. They last for 1000 dry's. I will never go back to softener, ever! Outstanding customer service, ordering online was easy and quick not to mention they were delivered promptly. Thank you The General Bean...you have a customer for life! Hey everyone!! It's a sunny day and I'm feeling good!!! Boom!! So here's an update on what will be acceptable and unacceptable when you return to me. These guidelines will take affect May 19th. Some are the same, some have been altered. PAY ATTENTION!! * When you enter my home, please close the door behind you and DEADBOLT it. Every. Dam. Time. ... * Have a seat on the white bench at the door - here will be a bottle of hand sanitizer. USE IT. * Do NOT enter my living room any longer, stay put on the bench until I come and get you. *Leave your jackets on - there will be a place for it downstairs in the clinic. * My payment methods have not changed. If you want to use cash, please have the EXACT change. * Currently I have suspended my 75 minute treatment times...this will be available once I build up my tolerance. * WEAR A MASK - homemade is fine. Choose not to wear one, I choose not to massage you. This is done for everyone's safety. * Currently all discounts are off the table, sorry but I hope you understand (ei: birthday). * If you remotely think you are ill or are experiencing any illness signs, DO NOT COME. If you were sick on the weekend and are recovering on Monday but you have an appointment, DO NOT COME. You are still contagious - this is big for me people...I'm gonna start to crack down, a lot more. NO CHARGE. * If you have travelled out of country/province and are within your 14 day quarantine, DO NOT COME. * PERMANENT CHANGE* I now require 24 hours notice for cancellations...not 12. Exceptions are illness and emergencies only. * Accepting new clients at my discretion. * Do not come more than 5 minutes prior to your appointment. * You will be required to sign a COVID-19 Waiver form before your appointment. This is mandatory. Below is what it looks like FYI. My promise to you is this and always has been: I do my best every day, with every client, to keep myself and you safe. I pride myself on my clinic being a safe haven physically, mentally and spiritually. COVID-19 does not change my sanitary practices, it just expands it! Safety first, always. Here are my hours for May going into June: Monday & Tueday's: 2:30pm- 8:00pm Wednesday, Thursday & Friday's: 12:00pm - 5:30pm ***If you can manage to come during the day, please do so. Quite a few of my clients do not have this option and the only time for them is evenings. Please be kind and leave those open for them*** Looking forward to seeing everyone again and catching up!!
