Ricky is a 2.5 year old male who is up for adoption at the Welland & District Humane Society Cat Adoption Centre, Seaway Mall He is a black domestic shorthair breed and he is so far very shy in his enclosure, rarely coming out to see anyone he would prefer to just hide where he feels safe. We don't know the full history on Ricky and unfortunately for these wonderful cats sometimes their personalities are not showcased in the best way when they are in an unfamiliar place and... do not feel safe. Over the past few days, he has been taking a liking to one of the volunteers at the centre, Jessica. Now when he hears her voice he will perk up, allow her to pet him and actually enjoy it and he's even been climbing into her lap! I truly think that Ricky has a great personality but needs to feel safe with someone familiar to let it shine. If you're an introvert like Ricky you may have just found your purrrfect match! Now Zola is a senior 'nana cat' if you will, she is 9+ years and is actually declawed. The volunteers are not 100% sure about Zola's history and how she wound up at the adoption centre but they have a hunch that her owner may have went into a home or maybe even into the hospital. This happens more frequently than one might think! Seeing as she had just arrived at the Adoption Centre a few hours before my arrival we can't say too much about her personality as she was still settling in. However, I can say that she seemed to be calm and observative. Not overly nervous, or spooked in any way. Her coat is unique in the sense that she is called a 'patch tabby' and you really need to see her in person to appreciate her! Joe Gonzalez has to deal with a very unethical situation where another Realtor reached out directly to one of RC's Buyers! Frank Biggins is back working on building out the Bullpen expansion the goal is to create a smaller bathroom and 3 separate areas, one exclusively for recording content! ... Bryan J Driscoll is absorbing as much as possible since becoming a Realtor and is eager to learn from the entire Team. Over the past week I have been busy showing Buyers potential homes and writing a handful of offers for them. It’s not easy seeing my Buyers put their best for forward and still lose out in competition on a home that they really want. Especially when this happens multiple times. I know it can get exhausting for them because they have their emotions invested. This is where patience is key, and knowing that this process can be a lot slower than it used to be. No matter how much... time it may take I never rush and never pressure. All we can do is keep searching, keep pursuing listings aggressively, and do our very best. On a more positive note - we do have 1 offer ACCEPTED! and 1 home CLOSED! I am ecstatic for this lovely couple who have found a home that suits their needs so well. All we have to do now is get through the home inspection to make sure there are no surprises for when they move in and we are golden!

An interesting week at RightChoice indeed! Joe and Kev worked on pricing a gun club - which I’m sure has had it’s challenges given it’s unique nature. If anyone is cut out for this it’s the Right Choice team! ... Kevin Murphy gave Joe a painting lesson down in the bullpen, and I think it paid off well! Joe Gonzalez and I are still working on finding a suitable property for our Buyer, this will likely take some time as we are searching for something very specific.
