To the two important men in my life... My dad, the OG, the man who does it all, can fix anything, tells it like it is. Thank you for keeping me grounded and supporting me, even when we don’t agree. Thank you for being soft and emotional and teaching me that it’s ok to feel your feelings. Keith, the most knowledgeable and nerdiest man I know. So humble and sweet and can make a room full of people laugh with your witty remarks and big personality. You are such an amazing fat...her to our boys and seeing how much they love you and look up to you makes my heart melt. I love you both so much. Thank you for continually showing up and being there, not just for me, but in so many people’s lives. It does not go unnoticed.

I’ll be honest, I don’t watch the news, never have. I’m not the most up to date on current events... the news makes me sad, but what makes me more sad is hearing how people are treated differently because of their skin color. I love the quote we all bleed the same color because it’s true, why does anyone give a fuck about what your skin color is? What your hair color is? What your body type is? We are all fucking HUMAN and we all deserve the same love, respect and treatment no matter what we look like. It’s about the people we are, the things we do, the things we say, the way we make people feel. This shit has got to stop, we need to do better and be better. Full stop.

To my beautiful mom. Thank you for teaching me work ethic, love, compassion, loyalty, laughter, and all the things that I cannot imagine my life without. You’ve shaped me into who I am and that, I am grateful. I love you so much (one thing I did get from dad is my ability to hold my liquor ) @squirrelypearly
