Dear Patients, Please know that the health and safety of our community and each and every one of you is of the upmost importance to me. That is why, following the strong recommendation of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, I will not be massaging until further notice. This was not an easy decision however, my governing body and others (Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, Dental) are trying to do their best to protect the public during this difficult and uncertain time. ...Since our college has given no specific dates, I will be evaluating on a day to day basis and will contact patients as their appointment approaches if it needs to be rescheduled. Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas!

Happy to announce that Avery arrived on August 20th. We are all home, happy and healthy! Thank you for all the well wishes and to all those who checked in.

Please Note: I am now officially off on my maternity leave as I await baby’s arrival. I will be returning to work mid/end of October and will reach out to patients when I am ready to start booking appointments. I am extremely grateful for everyone’s support and understanding since I have returned to work. Thank you for following the new protocols and procedures, being patient and doing you part to prevent the spread of COVID-19. ... While I am off, please stay safe and healthy. Remember to take care of yourself and keep up with treatments if possible. If you need a referral to another RMT please reach out and I can provide you with some names. UPDATE: Dear Patients, Please note that while I have decided to return to practice, this is only gradual/part time with only a limited number of appointments per day. ... I am currently reaching out to patients who have had their appointments cancelled due to COVID over the last 2-3 months and then if I’m able contacting those who reached out looking for appointments either during or after. As some of you are aware and others may not have been yet (I had planned on having the last few months to let people know) I am now 7 and a half months pregnant and due Aug 11, 2020. Baby and I are very happy and healthy but this does mean that I will be going off on a bit of a maternity leave shortly. I will be going off Aug 1,2020 , if of course Baby doesn’t decide to come before then, and will be taking approximately 2 months off after the baby arrives. While I am doing my very best, there is a good chance that I won’t be able to see some of you before I have to go off and even if I can, I can’t guarantee any more then one treatment. For that reason, I completely understand that some of you may choose to seek treatment somewhere else. I have been reaching out to different RMTs in the area to find some referrals and if you would like one please send me a message. However, I ask that you please remember that most of us are overwhelmed with a back log of appointment cancellations, new cleaning protocols that take much longer, and may not have returned to full capacity for a number of reasons. I know this isn’t exactly ideal, I promise it isn’t how I had planned on things going, but with a little patience, compassion and understanding things will always work out! Please know as always, I’m so grateful for everyone’s understanding and of course apologize for the inconvenience it may cause. That being said, my husband and I are beyond excited to be expecting our first child and choose to be more happy about that then the little hiccup life has dealt lately. Update to Patients: While Regulated Health Care Practitioners including RMTs have been told they may gradually reopen, there are a number of protocols which need to be implemented and risks that need to be considered. At this point in time, I will NOT be scheduling appointments yet and do not have an exact date on when I will be. Please know that patient and community safety is still a top priority to me and I will keep you updated as I figure out what the next steps look li...ke moving forward.
