Christmas is only a couple of days away. Usually I would be in a rush to get ready. I would be stressing, thinking I still need more of everything. This year my life is a bit different. My family is all quite far away and I won’t be able to to get together with everyone for dinner and gift exchanges. I now realize the things that are most important. I will talk to everyone on Christmas Day. They will all open their gifts and eat a fantastic Christmas meal. Most importantly they will all be safe and healthy. Christmas is not meant to be stressful, buying an exuberant amount of things, trying to please people. It’s about love. I love my family. I miss you very much.
