One must come to understand, "Doing" Yoga (Union with the DIVINE) is calculated by mind, reasoned through the many accumulations of what has formed ego (memories, experiences, reactions, programs, conditionings, preconceived ideas/notions, beliefs, preferences). Anything brought forth from this mechanically calculated approach is certain to bring "Disharmony". Rather, best to understand, "Being Yoga" (Union with the DIVINE) is what ONE IS, has been and always will BE. From t...his recognition comes "Grace" as one realizes they are "THE DIVINE". Anything less and one falls from "GRACE" into the "doing", creating distance from the "Natural Flux of the Divine", as one is in "Being". This is a piece of music that came to me naturally the other day. There is no strangeness in this. Often this occurs and immediately I record it without much practice. In fact many times in one take at the moment when it arises, if I happen to be recording my practices right from the start. When the Creative Force is ready it happens without plan. Sometimes I have lost many great pieces. Many Ideas have come at times randomly and spontaneously. The human mind feeble as it for...gets. It has taken over that which was a Groovy Feeling and does not recall that feeling behind the Groove in it's Uniqueness. To give you all a better understanding. Commonly for years I improvise along ANYTHING. Various styles of music, movie tracks, commercial jingles or instruments other than bass ex: ( horns, guitars, drum solos, human expressions ect... If something caught my ear with interest in its composition. There I was picking up my bass and playing along as I felt it naturally to express without thought. If I happened to hear something when taking part in the world. I would hum it out loud or in my head like a Mantra until it stuck. So as when I arrived home. The first thing I'd do is pick up my bass and replicate it to the best of my ability. Its been a practice which has served me tremendously. It has taught me focus, discipline, attentiveness, meditation, breathwork while playing, relaxation with body awareness, psychology, trust, letting go, and how to live through Soul. Many times I watched the mind do it's critical, judgement while playing. A whisper in the background " I don't think that part sounds so good". Only to hear the recording afterwards and realize it actually sounds pretty awesome. Even among slight errors. There is a Freedom in surrending to the iMpeRFectIOnS. This Freedom leads to the ULTIMATE FREEDOM behind ALL EXPERIENCES in Life. It shapes one to adopt this approach with everything that may come in Ones Path. After hearing each piece for the first time after recorded. I try to absorb all the details while remaining a Witness to the thoughts, emotions, breath and body sensations. This Union in the moment from without and within determines what the music makes me feel. Thence naming the piece of music from that space. This time since I share it among my Facebook Family.
