Happy Curling in Canada Day! Can't wait until the Fall when we can curl again.

We have been waiting for a year. Scotties start tonight! Join the Team Brown page for their game times and all their insights. BC's first game is Saturday night at 5:30pm our time. Go BC!

It's very disappointing that the Provincials have been cancelled but it's understandable and it's the appropriate decision. Thank you to the volunteers, CurlBC staff, the City of Kamloops as well as our friends who signed on as sponsors. We know that Team Brown and Team Laycock will do an outstanding job representing our province and we wish them all the best.

I am sad to announce that one of our employees has passed away. Donna Meeley worked in the concession as a cook for the last 2 years. She was well liked and was an excellent cook. Our condolences to her family.

The Kamloops Curling Club will be closed for the 2020/2021 Season. Please check our website for more details. See you next season!

Please register as soon as possible. It is important that you register as soon as possible if you are going to curl this year. We need to know the numbers before we can commit to putting in the ice. The ice install is a huge expense and we want to make sure we will have the membership to support it. Payment is not required when you register. We will collect that just before we start curling.... Remember everyone needs to register with the club every year. Go to the website www.kamloopscurlingclub.com and click on Existing Members. New members click on "Join - New Members" Refer to the COVID 19 protocols and changes in the game by clicking "COVID 19 Requirements" also on the website.

Curling has been cancelled for the rest of the season. The club will be open Thursday from 11:00am to 6:00pm and Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm. You are welcome to leave your curling equipment in your locker if you are curling next year. Thank you to our kitchen and bar staff, all of our members and sponsors and to all of our wonderful volunteers!

Two KCC teams took home gold at the high school provincials this weekend! Congrats to South Kam girls and Westsyde boys, who take home their second consecutive banner! Also good luck to KCC member Matt Dunstone team Saskatchewan) in the Brier semi final!

Congrats to Ray Olsen and Eve Skakun's senior ladies team ( with Liz Karpluk, Una Hazen, Sandy Allen, Janice Latta and Kay Belanger) on being inducted into the Kamloops Sports Hall of Fame!
