Happy Friday everyone! We hope that all of you are safe and healthy. It been a rough 2020 for everyone. The KatieBear annual trip to Jamaica is cancelled for 2020 :( MammaBear is really sad because this year the kids at the school were supposed to get new KatieBears. They are all so excited when we bring them. It is very likely that our Big Bingo in September will take place although we are hoping for a miracle. The annual bowl-a-thon is also not determined and at risk of being cancelled. We need to come up with a couple of fundraisers so we can at least send some money to the schools. They use the money we send them to do upgrades, general maintenance, teacher certification and school supplies. Please, if you have any ideas let us know.

Teacher desks are finished and delivered to Dalmally Basic School in Dias :) Big up to Wab for facilitating this and a great job by the builder. They look great <3

goZoom.ca is so happy to be able to provide meals again this year. We hope everyone enjoyed their meals. Merry Christmas

Thanks to all our volunteers who helped us spread some Christmas joy yesterday in Almonte! We are missing a few from this picture. We ran out of KatieBears, candy and only had a few dog treats left. More pictures to come soon.

We are ready! Off to Almonte parade this Sunday. 460 KatieBears, 1200 pieces of candy, lots of Milkbones for the puppers on the route too :)

Thank you to all that came out for bowling and those that donated for our silent auction. We raised over $680.00 for KatieBears today. Big thanks to Brenda at the Arnprior Bowling Centre for always helping us out. See you all November 15th 2020 for our 9th Annual bowl-a-thon :)

Huge Thank You going out to all of our sponsors, volunteers and bingo players for supporting KatieBears. We had a great event yesterday. All the money raised will be going directly to our schools in Jamaica next month. Our visit to the schools will be taking place on October 28th. Thank you to all!
