Planning and permitting staff have been busy conducting site visits, completing applications and processing subdivision applications. Are you a farmer who would like to implement Best Management Practices (BMPs) into your farming operation, but do not know how, or where to start? Maybe you are struggling with a lack of funding options, or you do not have enough information, or maybe there just aren’t enough hours in the day. This survey, specifically for our farming community, is an important step in helping to identify and measure the need for existing programs and new programs, to remain at the forefront of assisting our farming community today and into the future with implementing appropriate BMPs. - Board Chair and Brock Township Regional Councilor Ted Smith
