At the Coboconk cenotaph meeting to reflect on the sacrifice of those who gave everything for the freedoms and liberties that all Canadians now enjoy. Time and... time again, Canadians have proven their courage and never shirked from sacrifice nor duty. The stories of our veterans are part of our Canadian identity we all share. So today, we honour the weight of these stories and the sacrifices that came with them. Each of us has a responsibility to learn from the mistakes of the past and never let the sacrifices of these veterans to fade into obscurity. We must value our freedoms and acknowledge the heavy toll purchased to secure them. Lest we forget.
