Due to Covid-19 we are not offering hourly rentals this season. We are operating on a half day and full day rental basis. Prices are the same as last season, single kayak $25 for 4 hours or $40 for 8 hours. This change in operation for this season allows us to use each boat only once per day and ensure proper cleaning and limit the sharing of equipment. Thank you and stay safe!

Hello everyone. We are sorry but due to the overcrowding and unsafe conditions this past weekend and the pending City of Orillia special Council meeting on Thursday morning we will be closed for the remainder of this week. The safety of our customers, ourselves and all families is of the utmost importance to us. We hope that everyone understands and we apologize for any inconvenience.

We hope that everyone is doing well and staying safe! We are currently looking at Saturday June 20th as our opening date! We will however be operating a little different this year. Sorry but there will be no hourly rentals available, but will be offering half day and full day rentals. This will allow us to still provide rentals, but limit the use of each boat to one use per day. Contactless payment and bookings are also part of our future plans for this summer. Hi everyone, With the long weekend, nice weather, and lighter restrictions beginning all at once, we realize that you want to get out and be active. We have noticed that people are making comments that since the boat launches are not open, at least they can get out on the water in a kayak or canoe. While this may seem like a fun way to be active and social distance at the same time, the water is not a safe place to be right now. The lakes in our area are at 41 degrees Celsius... right now. At a temperature below 60 C hypothermia can be fatal in as little as fifteen minutes and just falling into cold water can cause cold shock which also can be fatal, even if you are wearing a life jacket. Please stay safe, stay smart, and still enjoy your weekend. Hopefully we’ll see you in the summer, Al and Liane
