HEY CHURCH! As you begin your week, we're asking that you come along side us in prayer over these things: 1) STARTING WITH THANKS: - "Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." - Ephesians 5:18-19 Spend some time pourin...g out thanks and praise on God, knowing that He is worthy and that through giving thanks we are able to enter His presence/courts. 2) Praying that the soil of our hearts/church would be able to fully receive the word through deeper surrender, obedience and trust: - But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown." - Matthew 13:23 3) Praying for a desire to build ourselves (individually and as a church) deeper, wider, and higher on the rock: - "But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. KINGDOM PANTRY THIS FRIDAY we are kicking off our Kingdom Pantry we want to LOVE on the city of Saint John, and see more of Heaven here on earth. Our current goal is to supply 40 families once a month with a week’s worth of groceries. Each month we will have a list of items we wish to supply for these families for a list of those items please contact Zack via the email listed below. BIN PREP SUNDAY We truly value the time and energy our Blue Shirt Volunteers spend ministering to our kids every week! We want to come together as a community and help support this team. Immediately after service this Sunday we will be taking the time to prepare KC Kids bags for our Kids Ministry, as well as taking the time to intentionally pray over our kids. We're being intentional about prayer in this season. Join with us as we pray this week for the following: 1) Praying for a renewed sense of the Lordship of KING JESUS in the body: - "Why do you call me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do what I say?" - Luke 6:46 Lord we ask for the fear of the Lord and faith in your goodness that will lead to obedience and Christlikeness. We are praying for the church to grasp the WHOLE great commission, "Making disciples, teaching them to obey all you ...have commanded." 2) We are calling forth the Zacchaeus's, in Jesus name: - Zacchaeus, come down, I must stay at your house today...and he came down at once and welcomed him gladly." - Luke 19:6 Over the past 12 months, hundreds of people have 'peered on' to our church/worship/sermons/community... We are calling those who have been spectators to come in to the fold. 3) Praying for a deeper alignment with the culture of Heaven as a church: - "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." Joshua 24:15 As we enter a season of building, we are seeking God to bring new kingdom development in our community.
