Cleaning: The Hard Truth Dropping bombs Honesty is the best policy... Famous last words: It's not THAT bad You can only lie about the Dirty Level of your home for so long... we're going to see it when we get there. So, be honest, and help me help you. Lying messes with my ability to give you an accurate quote, and it messes with my schedule times. This issue can be combated by providing photos of the rooms you're looking to include in your cleaning when asking for a quote! Be upfront with your budget We are more than happy to work within your budget, but being realistic is most important here. Cleaning takes time, there's no dancing around that fact, so let's come up with a realistic list of what can be accomplished within your budget/time frame. If we walk into 6 hours of work, and you left 2 hours of payment on the table, that's setting everyone up for failure, the clean won't be done, and you won't be happy. Clutter Takes Time Cleaning before the cleaner comes isn't necessary, however this is a double edged sword; Decluttering/tidying is something we're more than happy to do, but it takes time, and time is money. I don't want to spend your money anymore than you do! Tidying before we come, allows us to work more efficiently through the nitty gritty stuff you pay good money for! Last Minute Extras/Special Requests Acceptable times to tell your cleaner you'd like extras done this visit: Anytime BEFORE your scheduled clean, the earlier, the better. Bad times to tell your cleaner you'd like extras done this visit: When they arrive. Father Time seems to make the World go round. We schedule your clean based off the time it takes for a regular clean, we do this, to optimize our schedule to fit other clients in. We have scheduled arrival and departure times, when you ask for an extra that will take an hour over and above your regular clean, I then have to reconfigure my entire days schedule on the fly. Plus, theres a hefty chance we won't have the according products, depending on the extra you'd like done. Garbage removal We do not take your garbage with us. We have the same city services as you, and the last thing we want is to have a giant pile of crud the garbage man won't take. Your garbage. Your responsibility. Please advise where you'd like your garbage placed at the end of your clean. We have a schedule to keep We love our clients, and we love that you love us! However, as stated above, we have scheduled arrival and departure times, we are more than happy to chit chat while cleaning, but our main priority is for your home to sparkle by the time we leave. If we don't leave you saying 'Wow!' We didn't do our job right If ya don't know, well, now ya know!
