The staff at Keewaytinok are pleased to announce we have a new Lawyer joining our team! If you see Ben around town please say Hi and welcome him into our community! Originally from Regina, Saskatchewan, Benjamin Hognestad came to Ontario in 2009 to study music at U of T. He later graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School, where he was fortunate to participate in the Osgoode Intensive Program in Indigenous Lands, Resources and Governments. After articling under the guidance of criminal defence lawyer Shaunna Kelly, he was called to the Ontario bar in 2018. Ben has since had the privilege of practicing clinic law at Aboriginal Legal Services in Toronto, and South Etobicoke Community Legal Services. Welcome Ben!
