Hey everyone! I just wanted to post here and let everyone know I’m not taking new clients at the moment. The reason for this is just to make sure I can fit in my regular clients or clients I have seen in the past. There’s no option to turn off online booking for solely new clients on the system I use and so I’m just trying to make it harder for new people to book by making sure regulars are booked for 2+ months at a time. ... You’re always welcome to cancel or reschedule since that’s fairly far away. Everyone has been so great about recommending me to family and friends but please stop so I can still fit you in I have a few Massage Therapists I recommend if someone is looking! Thanks to all of you for literally being the best clients/friends ever!

My suspicions were confirmed this afternoon that it is, in fact, Nick eating all the chocolate I put out for my clients. These are not actually meant for him, please take a couple next time you’re in!!

Reposting this for anyone who has missed it or has questions: As we move into the critical level I’m grateful to say that registered massage therapists are allowed to continue taking appointments. Precautions:... I require all clients to sanitize their hands and wear a mask upon entry to my office. During the face up portion of a massage clients are required to wear a mask. My table and tools will continue to be sanitized after each appointment as well as chairs, door handles, debit machine etc. All linens are washed between appointments. If I or anyone in my household has any symptoms I will be cancelling all appointments until we have tested negative for COVID and have no symptoms. Everyone has been so great about cancelling but I’ll remind everyone anyways: Please reschedule if you or anyone you are close to (home or work) have tested positive or are awaiting test results for COVID OR have any cold or flu like symptoms. If anyone has any reservations or is being extra cautious don’t hesitate to cancel and please don’t feel pressured to reschedule. There will be no 24 hour cancellation fee for any reason whatsoever. (Please just don’t no show me though ) I would hate to be the cause of the virus spreading to any of my clients but more than anything I would hate for Valdine to get sick.

http://www.manitoba.ca/covid19/restartmb/prs/index.html With the new code orange restrictions I just wanted to take a minute to explain what that changes for your appointments with me. Honestly, not a lot. ... Capacity restrictions and social distancing don’t mean much in this situation as it’s always just the two of us. I will be wearing a mask for all appointments. Clients are not required to wear a mask on the massage table and since you essentially walk in the door and get on the table it’s not necessary. I’ll continue sanitizing my massage table, tools, door, chairs, counters etc and washing any linens between appointments. The biggest change is that Valdine won’t be coming in to say hi after appointments anymore. Most importantly, though, I ask that if you or anyone you are close with (at home or at work) are going to be tested or are awaiting your results please reschedule. If you or anyone in your home have any cold or flu like symptoms please reschedule. I would hate to get sick or be exposed and have to cancel all appointments but more than anything I would hate to make Valdine sick.

Direct billing to Blue Cross isnt the only new thing. Had to get a TV in here because we’re extra I know everyone’s missing their vacations this year but we can crank the heat and pretend you’re having a massage on the beach

Kelli Veldhuisen RMT 09.03.2021

Starting November 1st I’ll be offering direct billing to Blue Cross! Just make sure to bring your Blue Cross card to your next appointment!

Look what came! A lot of clients have been asking during the checkout process if they can leave a tip and it’s so kind. In the past that has been something I appreciated so much but things are different now. I work from home, I have only a few business related bills and honestly, the fact that so many people have been willing to come see me at home is the only show of appreciation I need. ... BUT if you really want to show your appreciation in another way, tell your friends who your massage therapist is. Or better yet, take a brochure or business card! Give one to a friend or leave it in the staff room. If you know someone having a social (when we can do that again) think of me, I’d love to donate a gift card! I’m happy to work at home and I’m happy to see some old friends but I’d love to make a few new ones! #massagetherapy #massagetherapist #selfcare #homeoffice #vistaprint #giftcard #brochure #wicker
