This step, I have to quickly brush this thick liquid 'medium' in all the creases. / Le liquide deviendra solide dans la moule de la sculpture que j'ai créée.
If it's fine details or bigger pieces to carve out, I use either hand tools or power tools. In this picture, I'm using a rasp to file off part of the black chlorite stone.

Wow... this 'memory' made me realize the amazing work it takes to create and produce bronze sculptures. I was very fortunate to have received valuable mentoring during an Apprenticeship with professional artist and sculptor Carolyn Bedford. What an amazing and strong woman!!
