Effective today, Monday June 1, Kidd's Home Hardware is open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday. We remain closed on Sundays until further notice.

It has come to our attention that some customers received our weekly flyer after the sale ended. We will honour the sale prices from the flyer ending May 27 on in-stock items until June 3. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

Welcome Home! Effective tomorrow, Wednesday, May 20, Kidd's Home Hardware and Building Centre will be re-admitting customers to the store. Our hours will be 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday and we will be temporarily closed on Sundays. We can only allow 10 customers into the store and three customers into the garden centre at the time. Thank you to all the customers who were patient with us, while we were curbside pick-up only. While the Government of Ontario has removed some restrictions on how we do business on May 9, Kidd's Home Hardware has decided to remain a curbside service only for a little while longer. We feel that prolonging the curbside is in the best interests of our customers and staff and will help stop prevent the possible spread of Covid-19 in our community. We hope that the area stays safe and we are able to re-open soon.

In accordance with Government of Ontario legislation, we will be modifying how we serve customers beginning Monday, April 6. We are no longer allowed to let customers in the store. If you have a new or worsening cough, sore throat, fever or are sneezing, we ask that you please remain home. If you are caring for anyone with those symptoms, we ask that you please stay home.... Given the nature of COVID-19, we have had to implement a few new measures to protect staff and customers alike. Spaghetti Dinner for Sarah Desjardins, February 29 Sarah’s lifelong partner, Matt Reid, passed away accidentally on January 29, 2020, leaving behind Sarah, their three-year-old daughter Avery and a second child on the way. Sarah is a very strong, positive person but the road ahead will be difficult. To try and alleviate some of her financial stress, Sarah’s Kidd’s Home Hardware family is hosting a spaghetti dinner on February 29, 2020 at the Sundridge Legion, from 6pm to 9p...m. There will be door prizes and a silent auction throughout the evening. Tickets are available at Kidd's Home Hardware and Stoney Lake Variety for $10. Children under 10-years-old eat for free. If you can't make the dinner, a ticket also gets you entered into the door prizes. See more

Just a reminder, our Maple Syrup Extravaganza starts at 10 a.m., tomorrow, Saturday, February 15.

Kidd's Home Hardware is hosting a Maple Syrup Extravaganza for the Family Day weekend. Come in Saturday, February 15, 2020 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. for a tree-tapping demonstration, maple syrup samples and expert advice. There will be face-painting; arts and crafts; and, weather-permitting, snow-fort building and snow painting. Algonquin Coffee will be serving up some brew. There will also be hot apple cider and hot chocolate available.... Representative from the Almaguin Highlands OPP, Parry Sound and District EMS and Sundridge-Strong Volunteer Fire Department will be on hand. A bonfire is planned, as is live music from Josh Berry of The Rivers. See more
