We want to help you BUILD up the supplies for a craft cupboard or bin . With this lockdown order in place, we realized that craft supplies are non essential for our local stores! . We wanted to create a list of go to supplies to have on hand at home that will support you doing all sorts of crafts for all sorts of different experiences on all sorts of stay at home days ... . coloured craft paper and white paper toddler scissors glue sticks & white glue tissue paper paint (washable) paint brushes washable markers or crayons googly eyes pipe cleaners Pom poms foam or felt sheets stickers . If your feeling brave- glitter is exciting (or leave that to us for school days ) Don’t forget to keep those household items like paper towel roll, egg cartons etc! . I store all this in a cupboard for Hazel and it’s a great save on those days we need to break away from the princess movies !! Keeping our Educator celebrations going ... today we shout out Denise!! Denise is one of our beloved preschool Educators and we are so greatful for her contribution to our families at the centre ... not to mention her love for singing and circle time songs! The joy, the laughter, the creativity and the hugs and snuggles are just a few of the most rewarding things I get to experience everyday. Today we shout out our fearless leader Laura! Thank you for all you do leading our centre - our kiddos LOVE you (and your singing) and our team appreciates all your leadership and hard work! When we asked Laura why Early Childhood education ... . I have very fond memories of my preschool teacher, Evelyn. She was wonderful to be around, and her passion for working with children was obvious. I learned so many lessons from her, and I try to emulate her in my work with children.
