Hello Kindle Arts members, and potential new members! As you may have seen, we have announced the dates for Otherworld: 2022, which will be our first Otherworld event since 2019. Otherworld will be taking place from June 16-20, 2022 at Laketown Ranch in Lake Cowichan. Since there has been a considerable lapse in time from our last production gathering in 2020, we would like to establish early who is available and interested in the leadership positions for the creation of Oth...erworld:2022. Once we receive confirmation from this survey we will organize a preliminary meeting in November or early December and begin to establish the Production Team for Otherworld:2022. Typically, regular Otherworld production meetings commence in mid to late January. However, since there has been a significant period of time since we last put on an event, we believe it is prudent to establish the production team earlier this year. Today's the day! The Kindle Arts AGM will be taking place today on Google Meet from 4-6pm. Attendance is for members only, and the link to the meeting has been sent out to our membership last night. Check your junk folder if you don't see it in your inbox. We will be nominating board members for the coming term and voting on bylaw changes. Only meeting participants are able to vote, so don't miss this opportunity to have your voice heard in your society. ... See you there!

Kindle Arts Townhall Meeting March 20th, 4:00pm to 5:00pm. Hello Kindlefolk, Behold, the link for our upcoming Town Hall Meeting on Saturday 20th March at 4:00PM: https://meet.google.com/yks-dkht-ezo... The meeting will be chaired by Liam Lavelle, questions will be addressed by the director best equipped to answer. The Otherworld 2020 theme was going to be Apocalypse Meow a warning? A clue? Perhaps it was inevitable that our gathering was cancelled, but not all is lost. We can still engage in some collective dark humour by sporting Otherworld Apocalypse-wear! Two pieces of apparel are for sale, sold pretty much at cost, with a couple bucks added to handle incidental expenses. When everything is finished, any surplus funds will be donated to charity.
