As a result of the latest announcement of further provincial restrictions due to COVID 19, the range will be closed until further notice. We will closely monitor the situation and advise when re-opening will take place. Sorry for inconvenience but this is part of the collective effort to flatten the curve of rising cases and permit more time for the population to become vaccinated. The Executive would like to wish all a very Happy Easter weekend and to inform you that we are open Sunday for normal operating hours, currently restricted to members and their guests only. Visitors may inquire about the sport or membership or firearm safety trg, but are prohibited from participating in any shooting activities for now. See you at the range!

Maximum participation called upon from members to assist in the spring clean-up at the range to get the grounds and equipment ready for the summer season. Sunday Apr 25th is the day and clean-up will begin at 0800 (approx.). Once chores have been completed, the fields will open for shooting activities. Free round of skeet or trap for those members that come and assist. Please bring some gardening tools like rakes, shovels, clippers, gloves if you can, would really help. See you there, thanks.

Our Butter Tart Fun Shoot originally scheduled for Mar 27th has been postponed UFN. This is a result of the increase in COVID cases within our local area. We will delay this event to provide the population more time to receive their vaccination. Details will be posted here and on our website as well as at the range when a new date has been chosen. This is anticipated to be in the May or Jun timeframe, stay tuned and sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks.

After a long discussion with the local Kingston Public Health authorities it was determined that our operation is very unique and can continue to operate the week of Mar 14-21st despite our previous announcement of closure. So members are once again able to continue to come and hone their skills in smashing clays as per normal hours and days of operation. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

It is with great regret that we have been advised that our very own Robert McCaldon has passed on Mar 3rd, 2021. A huge asset and equally huge loss to our community. No further details at this time.

Today at the club, Bill Templeton's fellow members congratulated and thanked him for his dedication as a club volunteer over the past few decades. Presented to him was a gift purchased by the Executive and another gift for his ultimate 0 for 25 skeet target round last November. On behalf of the entire corporation, we thank you Bill!

Attention Members.....the range will be open starting Sunday Feb 14th for regular hours and continue with following Weds with normal operation. The range is restricted to MEMBERS ONLY for the time being. Members may bring their guests but no visitors at this time. Sporting clays is closed for the rest of the winter months for safety reasons. Our facility has been operating for nearly 50 years and we are inviting new members to join our team to help celebrate this milestone. Despite our current closure as part of the Provincial Orders, we welcome new members to visit our website and inquire on how to join our team and enjoy shotgun sports among our three disciplines of skeet, trap and the best sporting clays range in the entire area. With the latest announcement by the Provincial Gov't PM declaring a state of emergency and the province now under stay at home orders till Feb 10th, the club is hereby closed until further notice. Congratulations to Matt Kenyon and Jett Pomeroy for successfully passing their Canadian Firearms Safety Course in October 2020. These two Junior members are great example of the next generation of our sport so be sure to give them a both a high five, fist pump, elbow smash, or even just a COVID compliant nod of your head the next time you see them at the club.
