Ukiyo-e cats ~ mass produced Edo period (1603-1868) hand carved woodblock print pop art ~ performing a traditional Edo acrobatic act called ‘rangui watari’. Only instead of walking on poles, the cats walk on dried bonito fish, a favourite treat.
