This year we'd love to welcome you to stop by from your walk in Kitsilano to join us for rock painting in celebration of Neighbourhood House Week! The rocks you paint will be displayed in the Kits house garden for all other neighbours to enjoy You can: put words of encouragement to keep fighting through Covid paint a picture of what community means to you... write out your name go all abstract - it's up to you! This will be held outdoors in front of Kits House from 2pm-6pm May 2nd-7th, with 2 tables 6 feet in length and 6 feet apart. We'll be sanitizing the supplies, tables and chairs before and after each use. We ask that you still keep you mask on, and keep your distance if someone is already sitting in one of the 2 painting stations. Alternatively, feel free to paint your rocks at home with your own supplies and drop them off! #NHWeek2021

Our Seniors Gentle Chair Yoga program is starting back up again - online! Each Christmas season we at @Kits.house provide Christmas hampers to people in need. This year will pose as an exceptionally difficult year for many individuals and families as they continue to navigate the pandemic and the hardships it has brought on. More than ever, we need to be there for each other and our community members. Happy Thanksgiving! This year, we are truly thankful for the Kitsilano neighbours, residents, and volunteers who came together to to support seniors and others not able to venture outdoors to do routine errands for themselves due to COVID19. There are truly amazing people living in our community and we couldn't be more proud and thankful to be a part of it!
