We have two lovely young female cats ready for adoption. They are about 2 years old, spayed and vaccinated and ready for their new home. They are very friendly ...and affectionate but unfortunately they have been mistreated as young adults they were shot at and in fact their brother was shot (he survived and is in our care} and so they are somewhat destabilized. It is as if they have a feline version of PTSD. A sudden move or noise can panic them. For that reason they need to go to a special home / setting with some special people. By that I mean a quiet stable setting where they can thrive. They are calming down beautifully at their foster home now. They would perhaps not be suitable for a busy home with small children. Chiodo: ADOPTABLE at BOSLEY’S on BOWEN ROAD Cheeky Chiodo (pronounced key-OH-doe in Italian) is seeking her forever home. She is estimated to be around two year...s old. Chiodo is the most affectionate cat her foster mom has ever met. She craves affection and really doesn't like being alone, so is best suited to a home with people who are home plenty and can shower her with all the attention she desires. She can be a bit skittish around new people, and in new environments, but she adapts very quickly. Her purr is a loud motor that’s always running. Chiodo has a tendency to give love nibbles while being petted, which are gentle and affectionate, but makes her not well suited for young children. Chiodo is very playful and had so much fun with all the interactive toys in her foster room. She adored her housemate ‘sister’, so a home with another friendly cat for her to bond and play with is important. Chiodo is the most sweet natured cat, with silky soft fur that begs to be pet and brushed, and is looking forward to being someone’s beloved lap kitty. Chiodo has been spayed, dewormed, deflead, tattooed, vaccinated for FVRCP and Feline Leukemia. A voucher for her booster vaccine, six weeks of pet insurance, and a health record card are also included. CatNap’s adoption fee for this lovely lady is $250. The store manager will handle the whole adoption process on our behalf.
