Kiwanis Members Working at the Drive-In Bingo. Ron and Lou were part of the charity staff at the fall Drive-In Charity Bingo at the Delta Gaming Centre. Kiwanis member work monthly shifts helping with the Bingo and raising funds for the various projects that the Club undertakes in Pembroke and area.

Due to the winter storm, our weekly Wednesday luncheon will be canceled tomorrow. We will resume our meetings the following Wednesday, February 20th. Be safe everyone!!

Today at our weekly Kiwanis International Club in Pembroke we had a walk through on how to use an external defibrillator by Kiwanis member Fred Blackstein. Great info for people to know in our community.

BINGO Our Club works with Delta Bingo raising funds for our charitable projects. Two members of the Club volunteer twice a month at the Bingo Hall to help with some of the logistics of the daily Bingos. In the last year $10,500 has been raised to help support some of our projects that include: bursaries for students from the five local high schools and Algonquin College, the Boys and Girls Club, Christmas Toy Drive and other needs for children in our community.

Kiwanis Computer for Kids (KC4K) The Pembroke Kiwanis Club has joined with Kiwanis Clubs in Eastern Ontario to purchase Chromebook Computer to help the local school boards provide computers to allow students to continue their studies while the schools are closed for the Covid-19. Five Dell Chromebooks are handed over to the Renfrew Board of Education by Kiwanis Lt Gov Vijay

We invite the Community to come and join us in our Fiddlefest Breakfast taking place Saturday and Sunday morning from 7:00am-12:00pm at the Kiwanis Field House at Riverside Park (961 Pembroke St. W). All are welcomed!
