As previously announced, any income tax balance due on or after March 18 and before September 1 will also be due by September 1, 2020. A reminder to be careful about phishing scams, malware attacks, and emailing confidential information. Once someone has stolen enough information to open a bank account in your name, they are just three clicks away from adding that bank information to your personal tax account and getting your tax refunds, GST, CCB, CERB, etc. With the increase in government disbursements, the scammers have an extra incentive to steal your personal information. Don't make it easy for them.
