Did you know that being sedentary for 48 hours can result in a loss of muscle mass? Being sedentary for a week straight... that can result in 5.5% muscle loss!! Now if only our bodies worked that quick to GAIN muscle mass! Combat muscle loss ("sarcopenia") by staying active, any way you like, every single day! Go for a brisk walk, use the outdoor fitness equipment at Kinross Pond, or try a couple squats on the park benches around town! ... If you're looking for more formal exercise, our personal trainers would love to help you build up your muscular strength & endurance when this shutdown is over!
