The Ball Fields at Civic and Baird are now open for use. Please be reminded that team sports are not permitted in any areas and all individuals must keep a minimum distance of 2m from each other.

Playground Tour Challenge! In order to celebrate the amendment to allow playgrounds to reopen, we are giving away a summer prize pack to one family! In order to have your name entered into the draw, you must:... 1. Visit all 5 TKL playgrounds (5th Street, Kinross, O'Meara, Queen E, & Swastika) 2. Take a family photo at each playground 3. The skate park and the dog park are both now open to the public. All persons who use these parks are reminded that they are required under the Provincial Emergency Order, to maintain a distance from all others who do not live in the same household. The Joe Mavrinac Community Complex will be closed for a minimum of 28 days from April 3rd due to the provincial grey-lockdown category. Stay tuned for options for outdoor fitness classes and virtual fitness options. Outside amenities will open with all COVID-19 restrictions in place as the weather allows including: civic park, dog park, kinross park, skate park and baseball fields.... What are the Age groups? Group 1 - Ages 10 and under Group 2 - Ages 11 - 17 Group 3 Adults 18+ When will winners will be announced? Dec. 18 on our Facebook Page. What will I win? Each age group will be given a holiday goodie basket and 12 free swim passes. Can I keep my Gingerbread House afterwards? Yes. After the judging of the competition you can pick up your house if you wish anytime after that. They MUST be picked up by Dec. 20th.
