Happy Friday! Today I want to showcase a project that is certainly near and dear to my heart. Over the past five years Century Barbers has established itself as a fixture in St Andrews, providing fantastic custom services, while offering an inviting and sophisticated atmosphere. That is why it was so imperative that revamping the space for new sole proprietor, Jordan Grant, kept the same comfortable feel, but also reflected Jordans own style and taste. It has been on my decorating bucket list to do a purple exterior colour scheme and I now have my wonderful Water Street clients to thank for being able to check that off. When the colour first starting going on I actually did a little happy dance in front of the house! Ive been really REALLY busy these past months. So busy that I let my work anniversary slide right by without a single shoutout. So! I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported me and Kaleidoscope Interiors for the past four years. My family, friends, community and of course my wonderful amazing clients. Thank you so much for working with me on your spaces, its been a blast. I love what I do and I consider myself truly blessed to be able to continue to do it.

I think the thing that excites me the most about doing what I do is getting to be a part of changing what you see when you go through your town. Working with Brian & Judy MacDonald at Macklem has been a genuine pleasure and I cant wait to bring you all the amazing after photos from inside and outside of this amazing historical Maxwell home.

Phase two of the Water & Augustus project is on the home stretch! Not quite sure what I'm most excited about, whether it's the colour palette, the lighting, the quartz, the antique finds.....so much eye candy!! Shout-out to Hannan's Construction for the massive undertaking that will be this kitchen space! Stay tuned for more progress pictures and of course the after pictures!

Fun fact .... in addition to wanting to be an interior decorator, I also wanted to be a glass blower. And almost 20 years ago, despite my paralyzing fear of the entire glass blowing process, I pushed myself to take a beginners course at the Alberta College of Art & Design. I would come to realize very quickly that it was not for me, however I will always remember the entire experience with a great fondness. Especially when one of my little glass mementos catches the ligh...t at my desk. #pushyourself #imadethat #iheartglass
