It consists of an obstruction placed in tidal waters or across a river to direct the passage of, or trap fish. Traditionally built out of wood or stone, the presence of fishing features such as this one can suggest a camp or village is nearby! Technology adoption has accelerated during the pandemic. The equity gap has widened and impacted youth in low-socioeconomic com...munities. Actua and Let's Talk Science focus on segments of the population vastly under-represented in STEM education, placing special emphasis on reaching girls, new Canadians, Indigenous kids and youth, kids and youth residing in at-risk communities, and kids and youth living in rural and remote areas of the country. Actua delivers STEM programs to 350,000 young Canadians every year. But, COVID-19 now affects how education is delivered. "The pandemic has impacted all students nationwide, but not equally.
