I have 6 bags of young cleaned garlic scapes with the flower heads removed. Ready to use. Great in eggs, salads and anywhere you would use garlic, green onions or chives. Mild garlic flavor. Only available for a short time. They can be frozen as is, no blanching required. $5/bag

The good news is we have loads of garlic scapes. The bad is they are mostly curling at once so will not be available for long. They can be frozen. Still some peas left and more. Tomatoes, carrots and beans coming soon. All chemical free.

Sign of a healthy garden. Have toads, worms, dragonflies, birds, chipmunks and now snakes. Not sure how this guy got up to the patio though.

Second Update: No sign of fledgling or mother this morning. No feathers around. It looks like our little pal made it. Update: She has dried and has been pre...ening. Her mother is feeding her. Am hopeful that she will be okay. It looks good. Have a little bird here who had something sticky all over. I tried to clean her up and now she is shaking. Can someone foster her?

Update: the prize lettuce sold! Need lettuce for 20 people? That is a 1 litre bottle of maple syrup beside it.
