Knead to Unwind Massage Therapy will be allowed to remain open during the new public health order starting on Thursday, Nov 12th. Registered Massage Therapists are permitted to continue operating to help provide our community access to therapeutic support. Our clinic currently meets or exceeds all the recommendations for PPE, sanitation, physical distancing by our provincial associations and Health Canada.... We are committed to continually monitoring and modifying our safety plan as necessary to ensure you are comfortable and safe during your visits to our clinic. Beginning on Monday, November 2nd the Winnipeg Metropolitan region will be elevated to level Red/Critical. Massage Therapists are classified as Health Professionals under the current public health order and therefore we are able to remain open with no new restrictions at this time. In order to ensure the well-being of our patients and team members, we will continue to follow these safety protocols:... Patients must arrive on time and enter only within 5 minutes of their appointment time so that we can ensure social distancing. Everyone entering our clinic must complete a COVID-19 screening. We have provided hand sanitizer for mandatory use upon arrival in our reception. All staff, therapists, and patients must wear masks in all common areas of the clinic including the building hallways, bathrooms, reception area and treatment rooms. We are sanitizing all treatment rooms before and after every appointment. We use Health Canada approved cleaning agents that are both safe and also proven to kill the COVID-19 virus on contact. We have increased our cleaning and sanitization regimen for bathrooms, common areas and for all frequently touched surfaces. We have directed our team members to stay home if they do not feel 100% healthy. In the possible event of feeling unwell, Health Links must be contacted and all directives followed before returning to work. Our 24 hour cancellation policy will be waived for any patients that are sick. Please stay home if you have a fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, any nasal congestion that is not related to a known or pre-existing condition, shortness of breath and/or if you have had any exposure to someone diagnosed with COVID-19. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this difficult time!
