TIP OF THE MONTH Use circular needles (even when you are knitting flat). Straight needles are easier to lose. You can use circular needles for flat projects by just knitting back and forth instead of joining your work. Circular needles are more portable. It is also easier to handle a lot of stitches on circular needles. You also reduce the risk of dropping stitches. www.knitwitz.ca

This past summer was exciting for me at Knit Witz. I learned how to make a Moebius cowl, as well as, thrumbed mittens. The Moebius cowl has a twist but is knit in one piece with no breaks. The thrumbed mittens are lined inside with roving wool that is knit right into the mitten. They are so cozy and warm.
