Good day all! Just a quick note to say that because of the huge spike in COVID numbers, Knox will not be having in-person services for the month of January. Stay tuned for further updates! Stay warm, stay safe, keep the faith - for God is faithful!
It's the last Sunday of the year, and also the last Sunday before Rev. Anthon Bouw will be retiring as Knox's minister. The link for today's service is https://youtu.be/EbLvZJHMo58 Join us as we worship God, and seek God's blessing for the new year. Have a blessed Sunday!
Today is Christmas Eve! We celebrate the gift of the Saviour's birth. Unfortunately, we have reached full capacity for in person attendance, but you can join us at 7:00 via our livestream, https://youtu.be/WPhqA5VvqcI Have a blessed Christmas!
As we continue to deal with restrictions caused by the pandemic, it is good that we have enough space for our usual number of attenders. For those unable to attend, we are still livestreaming; the link is https://youtu.be/ZyCRTrfn1aU Join us as we gather to celebrate the 4th Sunday of Advent. Have a blessed weekend!
Sunday is the third Sunday of Advent - the Sunday of Joy! Join us as we worship and celebrate the one who is the true source of eternal joy. The service begins at 10:30; the link is https://youtu.be/pIkwCQVDLig Have a blessed day!

I forgot to mention that our services begin at 10:30 - hope you'll join us!
It's the first Sunday of Advent! Join us on Sunday morning as we begin the anticipation of Christmas celebration. Join us also for the celebration of the Lord's Supper in this worship service. Just click the link: https://youtu.be/Da7tjZQ0SHs Have a blessed Sunday!
Happy Easter! As we await a vaccine for the pandemic, we celebrate the 'cure' for the brokenness in our lives - the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Join our Easter service at https://youtu.be/IpShP3vEgg4
One week past Easter: a good time to reflect on the great gift that was given to the world. Join us as we see the 'gift' that the account of 'Doubting Thomas' is for us. The video link is https://youtu.be/0uNscsrojGA. Have a blessed day!
As we come to Good Friday and Easter, we are still not meeting in the church. The number of new infections is still too high. But we know that we are together in spirit as we gather virtually to remember all that has been done for us. Join us for our Good Friday communion celebration at https://youtu.be/xGkfJ7OJf5I
We celebrate Palm Sunday as a time when recognizing that Jesus truly is the King of kings. Unfortunately, there were some complications with the video; if you'd like a copy of the printed service, please email us at [email protected]. Have a blessed day!
As Holy Week approaches, starting next Sunday, we've put together something to give time for reflection. It will be explained more fully in this week's 'Record', but come alongside the church and you'll see what we have. Join us for our worship service for the 5th Sunday of Lent; the video link is https://youtu.be/2nGLPmE9W80 Have a blessed day!
As we get ready to move our clocks ahead, some feel like we 'lose' an hour. We don't - we just lend it to the year to get it back in the fall. Time is our way of measuring so much, but we trust in God who is not controlled by time, but rather has time in his hands. This is the fourth Sunday of Lent, and we continue to anticipate the coming of Good Friday or Easter. The video link for this week's service is https://youtu.be/EW6cmcCAXws. Please join us!
We are now on the third Sunday of Lent, a time for reflecting on all that Jesus did for us. It is a time of taking in more deeply his teachings on life, on love, and on God's grace. Join us for the service via this link: https://youtu.be/HBbjvnQJS6Q. Have a blessed Sunday!
Somehow even though spring doesn't officially start for another 3 weeks, when the calendar changes to March we start to feel like we've gotten through another winter. Our perseverance is fueled by the faithfulness of God, which assures us that spring truly will come because of the Lord's power and grace. Join us for this week's worship service; the link is https://youtu.be/Es8mMe0OKhY Have a blessed week!
As the days grow longer - and hopefully warmer! - we're in the season of Lent, traditionally seen as the journey to the cross and Easter. It is a time to reflect ever more deeply on the message of the gospel: Jesus' death, resurrection and ascension, and the grace that forgives our sin because of this. Join us for the video at https://youtu.be/HddN3ApEMMg. Have a blessed Sunday!
It must be Friday - the Sunday morning service is available! Still hard to get used to not being together for worship, but that day is coming. In the meantime, we are celebrating the sacrament of the Lord's Supper in the service this morning - always a special time of connection with our Saviour. Please join us; the video link is https://youtu.be/ALa4qzXjRK4 Have a blessed Sunday!
It's nice that the numbers are coming down, even if we're not through it yet. It's hard waiting, and tells us that we want the Lord to give us patience - NOW! In the meantime, we still have the privilege of prayer and praise and reading and hearing God's word. Join us in this week's service; the link is https://youtu.be/apTw7-0RJD8. Have a blessed Sunday!
It's at a time like this that we have to be reminded that Christians don't go to church, they ARE the church. Yes, we miss being together, and can hardly wait until we can be in the same building that we've worshipped in for years, but until then, we have to make sure that we bring the presence of Christ to wherever and whomever we can. We still need to be the church. The video link for this Sunday's service, a hope-giving reflection on John 3:16-17, is https://youtu.be/_iVVKM6Yryw. Have a blessed day!
Winter continues here, but it always comes with the promise of spring because of the faithfulness of God. So we contend with the weather and with the restrictions because of COVID, knowing that we will overcome because we're Manitobans and because we're children of God. Join us for the service; the video link is https://youtu.be/4WgU_9dv1J4. Have a great Sunday!
It seems the vaccine can't come fast enough - and it has to be stored someplace colder than Manitoba in January! But in the time we're waiting, we can still trust in the goodness of God who makes the production of a vaccine possible. The service this weeks focuses on the importance of getting to know God and God's word. You can check it out at https://youtu.be/48uay_pkdHw Have a great Sunday!
With no end in the pandemic in sight, it becomes more and more important to follow the rules for keeping everyone safe. Yes, we hope they will find a vaccine and a cure, but best to use our God-given common sense to do all we can to prevent excessive and unnecessary spread. Don't forget Remembrance Day on Wednesday. We're still not meeting in the sanctuary, so here is this week's video: https://youtu.be/z0rycMdLj7g. Have a blessed day!
It's hard to watch the increased number of Covid 19 cases here in our province and around the world. It certainly is a good indication of the limitations that we face as human beings. That's why it's so great that God has made himself known to us in Jesus Christ, that we can trust in his grace not just for today but for eternity. We're still not meeting in the church building; we're hoping the COVID numbers will decrease soon. The video link for Sunday's service is https://youtu.be/GaPFMeDmhFA. Have a blessed day!
We must be living in Manitoba - the snow has made it's first appearance long before the first day of winter! Added to the stress provided by the pandemic, it is a good time to hear the words of Jesus: "come to me, all who are weary and heavy burdened, and I will give you rest." We are still not meeting in the church itself, but hope to start soon. The video link for this Sunday's service is https://youtu.be/Abid2GeLtAs. God's blessing be upon all.
As the minister is on holidays this week, there will be no sermon available via video. But as we see the spike in COVID number in our province, let's all pray for wisdom for all to prevent it growing even more. And as the temperature falls, continue to pray for the farmers who have yet to finish their harvesting. The grace of God be with you all.
Thanksgiving has come again, a time to be reminded of all our blessings, particularly at a time when we are so focused on all of the things that we wish were different. May our hearts be lifted above the problems and see the wonder of our gracious and generous God. The video link is https://youtu.be/VzgScDJwu-Q
