Brain-stretching card games: GHOST BLITZ, Ghost Blitz: 5 to Midnight, both for ages 8-adult and Ghost Blitz Junior for ages 4+, $20.99, $34.99 and $19.99 respectively. I love these games because they really stretch your brain and your reaction time, it’s so much fun for your kids to kick your butt legitimately (well at least for them ). Let me tell you a little bit about the main game. 1 One card gets flipped over and each player must look at the five wooden object...s on the table and choose the ONE object that they are allowed to choose before anyone else does. 2 The player that grabs the correct object first wins that round. Sounds easy, huh? But things get complicated and much more fun very quickly! The cards represent the photographs that the ghost has been taking around his home. But the camera he’s been taking photographs with is enchanted, so it doesn’t always render objects the correct color. This makes the game fun because the colour of the objects in the pictures on the cards will determine which object on the table you must grab. For example, there is a chair, a bottle, a book, a mouse, and a ghost to choose from. If you flip over a card, and the card shows a red chair on it, then grab that red chair quickly! BUT, If the card shows an object that is not the correct color, then you may NOT choose any object or any colour that is depicted on the card. You must deduce the ONE correct object by deselecting all of the colours and objects that are shown on the card. For example, if the card showed a blue ghost holding a red bottle, neither of which are correct, then you may NOT choose the red chair, the blue book, the white ghost or the green book - only the grey mouse is up for grabs. Does your brain hurt yet? Awesome! Ghost blitz Junior makes the game easier, and Ghost Blitz - five to midnight is all about the ghost I mentioned earlier going on a date with another ghost in his house at 11:55 pm.
