Happy International Women’s Day! I was born in Poland and we celebrated March 8 ever since I can remember. It’s always been a big deal in Poland, but I didn’t realize how big of a deal it was until I was a little bit older and it became even more important once I had my son and my daughter. I want the world to be a better place and I teach them whenever I can about injustice. I tell them how they can help create a world where women and all people are treated fairly and equally. How about you? When did you start celebrating International Women’s Day? What does it mean to you?
