Surprise room makeover {part 2} We figured since we were already doing one room, adding the room of Gavins little brothers wouldn’t be too hard. These little men have been feeling pretty left behind with everything their family has been going through, and they deserved a pick me up too! Their whole family loves the mountains, hunting and the wild outdoors, so picking a theme was pretty easy! The mountain mural was hand painted and the room was updated with some new bedding, d...resser, desk and rug. We added new closets with tons of storage, and repurposed a book shelf to organize all their homeschool supplies. Their room now feel bright, open and ready to learn and play in! Surprise Room Makeover {part 1} This weekend we got to do a top secret project for our sweet nephew Gavin that is battling a very rare, stage 4, cancer. He’s in a middle of a long stretch of chemo and we knew that they could all use a little joy in middle of the hard times. Gavin is a Dino loving, Oilers fan so we were able to combine some fun elements to give him an awesome space to relax in. A custom Pipe rack shelf, custom metal sign with his Warrior logo, wood wall, pops ...of orange (like his signed Schultz jersey), along with tons of storage transformed this room.
