What does a knitter do on a day when it’s minus a million degrees? They knit themselves an extra warm scarf

I have been very quiet on here, for a very long time. With working full time, and busy with my furry critters, I haven’t had much time left for my soap making, and knitting. So, today I thought I would start fresh, and start off with something new to post!! Shower steamers!! These are for people who only shower but still want a spa like experience. You set them in the tub and let the water dissolve the steamers away. While they are dissolving, the steamers fizz away, releasing a lovely scent of lavender and vanilla. Next on my to do list is learn to cable knit!! Stay healthy, and safe!

Baby blanket on the way. I love this pattern. And the yarn I’m using(Baby Cakes by Bernat), is so lovely and soft. Perfect for baby. I've been pretty quiet over the last little while. Time has kind of brought on a new meaning, with the covid-19. People are self-distancing and self-isolating. People are unsure of what lies ahead. All I know is that we are all in this together, and we will make it thru. We are a strong bunch of people, us Canadians. Anyone that can live where it gets to -50, are tough. I have been busy. I try to keep myself busy, it helps to keep my mind clear. I've been knitting, and of co...urse with Easter coming up, I'm trying to perfect my bunny butts. If you need soap, or facecloths, or dishcloths, let me know. I have lots...lol If you would like to order soap, or any knitting, I'm only doing e-transfers at this time. I’m learning a new knit stitch today! It’s a vintage stitch called the Bamboo stitch. I think it’s so pretty and would be a wonderful stitch for a scarf or blanket. It would definitely be warm on those -30 days!

A flop...colour is off, but it still smells great. I think a do over is in order.

Start of my Valentines Day soap! They smell like After Eight mints...almost good enough to eat. Stay tuned for the finished product later this week!
