I sometimes forget that I was created for Joy. My mind is too busy. My Heart is too heavy for me to remember... that I have been called to dance the Sacred dance of life. I was created to smile To Love To be lifted up And to lift others up. O’ Sacred One Untangle my feet from all that ensnares. Free my soul. That we might Dance and that our dancing might be contagious. ~Hafiz See more

Mastery of the world is achieved by letting things take their natural course. One who seeks knowledge learns something new every day. One who seeks the Tao unlearns something new every day. Less and less remains until you arrive at non-action. - Lao-Tzu

Top 5 Reasons To Practice Kundalini Yoga By Hayley Cutler Brought to the West in the 1960’s by Yogi Bhajan (of Yogi tea Co.), the powerful breathing accompanie...d by the repetitive action of the poses oxygenates the inner organs. And when you ultimately lie down in shavasana, the feeling is ecstatic. Why? The by-product of all this formidable breathwork and recurrent moves -incrementally sustained crack through the resistant ego to reveal a feeling that can only be defined as ‘bliss.’ Seeing the swirling colours of one’s third eye opening may sound bizarre, but when the breath has cleansed the energy centres, or ‘chakras’ that run along the body from the base of the spine to the crown of the head, the feeling is ecstatic and the practice invariably speeds up spiritual evolution and healing. Discover my 5 top benefits of Kundalini Yoga Inner Guidance Through Kundalini Yoga I’ve developed the power of the intuitive mind. If prayer is our way to talk to our higher power, then intuition is our higher power’s way to talk to us. By uncluttering the subconscious and learning to listen through meditation, it’s easier to develop an inner guidance system that can be tapped into when faced with life’s choices, questions and decisions. Sacred Sound Kundalini Yoga is renowned for the beauty of its sacred chanting that consciously regulates the sounds we make via breath, mantra and rhythm. Sound vibrations affect mind-body harmony through the movement of the tongue and mouth, to change chemicals in the brain. The Golden Chain Transmitted from master to student over centuries, when I chant Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo at the start of a Kundalini Yoga class, I feel linked to the extended line of spiritual masters who have come before me. As a teacher, I am calling on this lineage for guidance, protection, and wisdom. This lineage is called the Golden Chain. It is a transfer of spiritual awareness that ensures that the teachings of Kundalini Yoga remain pure and applicable. Turn Karma into Dharma Regular Kundalini Yoga practice burns through the cycle of karma. The willingness to undergo the sometimes-challenging Kundalini kriyas (exercises) burns off karma, the universal principle of cause and effect, action and reaction, which Hindus believe governs all consciousness. Through consistent practice, emotional and physical strength increases. This means that practitioners walk the path of dharma the universal principle of law, order, harmony and truth that acts as the regulatory moral principle of the Universe rather than living in response to karma. Protection from Negativity Kundalini Yoga training fortifies and expands the electromagnetic field, or aura. This measurable energy field that surrounds us all, can indicate positive and negative influences in your environment. A weak aura can allow negative influences to leak in, whilst a bright and expansive aura can protect from negativity and keep us focused in the light of our true identity.
