FYI La Belle Patate put an add out on Sunday to do a fundraiser for Logan and Danielle. In my mind, I was doing it because it was devastating for that family and we wanted to help as much as we possibly could in any way we could. It came to our attention that somebody called Saskatchewan Health Services to complain. They complained that we were trying to help a family that lost absolutely EVERYTHING!!!! Now I understand that you may be scared of Covid and I understand that ...you may not want to participate. I completely respect that decision! In that case, I assume you wouldn’t come to the restaurant at all! And I respect that as well but to make that decision for everyone who would have participated to help a family in need is uncalled for!! You had a CHOICE not to come, not to participate! The tournament is now CANCELED!

PLEASE SHARE Well it’s been an amazing year of ups and downs for La Belle Patate!!! Me and Sean have decided that the restaurant will be closing on June 30th, 2021. Our lives are taking us in a different direction and we just can’t seem to fit the pieces together to also keep the restaurant in the mix!!! It’s an absolutely heartbreaking decision as we love our jobs and the people in it!!! We have absolutely THE most amazing customers and regulars that we truly cherish.... They have supported us so much over this last year and we love each and every one of you!!! If there’s anyone out there that would have some interest in becoming a restauranteur or a business owner, please contact us for info. We will be selling it with everything in the restaurant and bar with all the kitchen equipment etc. It really would be a turnkey business as it’s all set up for success!!! Keep in mind we are not closing because of Covid! We still did well during this last year, our lives are simply going in a different direction! Please come out and enjoy some delicious food and drink!! We look forward to seeing all of you and cherishing the comraderie! Thank you to everyone who has come out to support local!!! A very good friend of mine passed away last October! Today is his bday so in his honour, I’m putting on the following special: A shot of Crown $4 Bud light Beer $4... We miss him dearly so come on by and raise a glass!!

For those of you worried about the fundraiser and COVID, please refer to the Live Theatre rules below. They will be followed as required, I have been getting enquiries worried that only 30 people are allowed. This is not the case for businesses, only for personal gatherings. As the hall can fit 400 people, 30% is 120 people plus the balcony. The tables will be social distanced and alcohol will be served at the tables so nobody needs to get up. We are very excited to be helping our fire department with some much needed equipment. We did our due diligence before we booked this in order to comply with Sask Health rules. We’re so looking forward to the evening and sharing it with you!!!
