Hello all! This letter is just a quick update on the Lacombe Youth Centre. On October 2nd we will be starting our Friday Drop in nights from 6:30-8:30pm. This... is for anyone in grades 7-12. At this time we do not have a set number allowed. This may change going forward in which case I will be sending out a sign up system. Starting October 7th from 3-5:30pm we will be starting our Club 456 Bible study. This is for anyone in grades 4,5 or 6. At this time we do not have a set number allowed. This may change going forward in which case I will be sending out a sign up system. These programs will run every Week unless it is a holiday, if weather is unsafe, or if Covid regulations change. Masks will not be required until numbers exceed 15 in the building. Please bring a mask with you in case this happens. We will also have masks to provide if needed. There will be safety check sheets and sanitizers at the entrance as well! When videogames are open there will be sanitizers and spaced chairs in the area. There will be certain board games also available. For Drop in nights I will be trying to do an extra activity that allows us to sit separate but have fun! Tie dye will be happening on October 2! While I dont have a sign up sheet I would love to know if you plan on participating in the extra fun activity so I can get proper supplies. Drop- In's are STARTING!!! Friday October 2 will be our first drop in. 630-830 pm. (This is a time change from last year.) We will be doing tie dye so I need to know if your interested in participating so I can get supplies! ... Video games will be open with sanitizers and distanced chairs Certain board games will also be available! At this point we don’t have a Maximum amount of people allowed. Hey everyone! I just wanted to take a few minutes today to introduce myself and bring some new life into this page! My name is Megan and I was hired in March as the Youth Centre Coordinator for Lacombe. I had started to join Gregg at the Friday night drop ins and was super excited to get to know the youth! Obviously with the changes this world has had in the last two weeks we’ve had to put all those on hold until the future. BUT that doesn’t mean I don’t want to get to know... you!
