UPDATED - Acadian 2 Ball Draw Kitchen hours from 7:00am to approximately 7:00pm Breakfast - Golf Ball Sandwiches ... Sausages, Hot Dog, Burgers to go Full menu through the day in addition to a variety of snacks. Avoid large groups as per COVID-19 regulations, be respectful towards pace of play. Each group will have an envelope with a scorecard, pencils and rules sheet. A rules sheet will also be poster so it can be reviewed prior to play. No skins game or posted scoreboards due to COVID-19 protocols, scores will be displayed on Facebook and the Website. Prizes will be in the form of gift cards and will be delivered to home courses or we will contact you.

We regret to announce the cancellation of the 2020 Jackie Frost Tournament. Although this was a difficult decision, we feel it is necessary. To all the ladies who have supported the Jackie Frost over the years, we thank you, and we hope you'll join us for the 2021 edition which will be held on September 11th and 12th. Visiting golfers are welcome at our course, so don't hesitate to come play a few rounds!

Regrettably, we have to cancel this year's Ladies' Field Day, which was to be held on July 14th. Thank you to all the ladies who have supported this event over the years. Next year's Field Day is slated for Tuesday, July 13th. Save the date!

As you are aware, we cannot hold our spring meeting at this time. Covid-19 Update April 15th The mandated closure of our Club by order of our Provincial Government continues, our Superintendent has begun maintenance of the ...grounds and various Clubhouse projects have been addressed during this time. As previous updates have mentioned, our Board of Director’s continue to have hope that at some point our fairways will open for play and our Club will be able to offer recreational activities to our community. It is highly likely that once we are able to open for play, the Clubhouse and driving range might not be part of the initial opening plan. Management and the Executive Board are looking at all subsidies and grants available and will also review Membership Rates so that a fair price is considered once we are able to open part of our facilities to the public. April 15th marks what would be the start of the Handicap registration period for Golf Canada. We hope everyone remains safe and healthy as we move forward through this crisis. 2020 season / Covid-19 update Clare Golf & Country Club will remain closed for play and our clubhouse related events are postponed until further notice. Optimis...m over having a short winter has quickly turned to concerns over public safety as the world waits to see what impact the Covid-19 Virus will have on our daily lives. Obtaining factual information on how to impose regulations was the most important factor concerning our staff and the Clubs Board. Weather windows throughout the month of March were never long enough to consider opening for the season. The long range forecast also brings cold nights, rain and strong winds, having us look into April before an opening was being projected. Today our provincial government announced that a State of Emergency was declared. The golf industry must now wait to see how the coming weeks will take shape. Over the coming weeks The Board of Director’s, Manager and our Superintendent will discuss course maintenance and preparation for the season. Safety concerns will be addressed as well as what standards our government expects from our Club. We will update our Shareholders on 2020 Annual General Meeting status over the coming weeks. Postponement might be inevitable. April clubhouse events have been postponed. Events scheduled for May will also be updated as we move forward. The Tournament schedule will be scrutinized and some events could be postponed or cancelled. We hope everyone stays safe and are coping well. In this time of uncertainty and concern we will proceed with caution and compassion, we hope that our members and guest are understanding as we try to navigate through these troubling times. Our next event is Chase the Ace Draw on Thursday October 31st. We will be open in the afternoon to sell tickets till 8:30 PM and the kitchen will be open for supper from 4 PM till the draw at 9 PM. We will have some of your favourites available on the menu. A full menu for Thursday will be posted by Wednesday! Please make sure you get your Chase the Ace tickets. Only 4 cards left!
