The best way to warm up those hands this Fall? Grab a mug of Glühwein! Spend a #LancasterFamilyNight trying something new just the two of you. Here's our recipe for classic German Glühwein, perfect for warming you up inside out. It literally translates to "glow wine" because of how it makes you feel as you drink Ingredients: ... 1 (750-milliliter) bottle dry red wine (non-alcoholic is great here!) 3/4 cup water 1/4 cup turbinado or granulated sugar 1/4 cup orange juice 20 whole cloves 2 cinnamon sticks 2 whole star anise How to: Boil water and sugar until combined, then reduce the heat and add all the aromatics (orange juice, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and star anise) until the syrup thickens, about a minute. Reduce the heat to low and add your bottle of wine; let simmer for at least 20 minutes but up to a few hours! Let us know below what your go-to warm Fall drink is!
