Do you ever find yourself having thoughts of doubt in a goal you are working towards?! I know I do! We are human and if we are being real, we all do at some point! I find doubt, every time I do something different or out of my comfort zone. However, I ALSO find myself looking for this instant gratification, I find myself putting ridiculous expectations with little to no time and little to no work. With the way the world has changed, we are so used to having everything at ou...r finger tips, and so many aspects in our life are so easily accessible that when things aren’t as natural, and when things deserve work, we get let down a lot easier than we should! So, how do we break this habit?! Bring awareness to it. When you find yourself in this mindset, take a step back and look at the whole picture! How much time have you actually put towards that goal? What steps have you actually taken? What are the next steps?! I write down my next few actions, and then I spend the next while reminding myself that tiny steps are the most effective because they are do able, and over time tiny steps lead to a bigger leap. By reminding myself of this, and reminding myself that little steps are better than no steps, it helps to bring my ego down, and it also motivate me because it lets me know I am moving in the right direction and results will come where the work is put in.
