Mandy, our chief on-site architect, heads up all our home construction teams at Las Olas. In Ecuador, home construction is mainly still a man’s world, but at Las Olas Mandy has taken up the challenge of dealing with all-male home construction teams and manages all aspects of construction. Mandy’s attention to detail and ability to manage and drive her t...eams with strength and compassion makes her invaluable at Las Olas. Which is no easy task when you are moving over 800,000 cubic meters of dirt and building over 1,600 residences. Born and raised in Ecuador, her Canadian father and Ecuadorian mother raised Mandy with a solid education, strong values and an unsurpassable work ethic. Mandy holds a degree in Architecture with an emphasis in Architectural Design from the University of Espiritu Santo Of Guayaquil and has a strong background in home design and construction. David Maksymuik, Las Olas' general manager states Mandy is one of the hardest working, most dedicated and competent members of the Las Olas team and I only wish I could clone ten more of her. No one is a better testament to the empowerment of women and the advancement of women’s rights on this day to celebrate International Women’s Day!

Darren Twilley, a PGA teaching pro for Ceibo Valley Golf Club, demonstrates how to get out of one of the most treacherous green-side bunkers on the course, located at the very reachable par five 14th hole.

The par three 15th hole at Ceibo Valley Golf Course green complex is growing in nicely. This hole is located right on the beach and boasts water in front and to the left of a green which is surrounded by sand dunes.
