More nutritious meals for our clients

This year again Last Door’s Keystone Retreat was generously given garlic sets for Darwin and Purple Russian garlic from Hooke Farms by Cam and Leslie Ellet. A gardeners hand divides the bulbs into individual units ready for planting. First bag are purple Russians that are a personality plus garlic. Purple stripe variety with deep red wrappers. Second bag are Darwin Garlics that are a beautiful purple wrapped clove and a cousin to the Russian Red These will all be planted along with Keystone Garlic next week (pics to follow) #FarmToTable

This week in the garden. Cabbages ready to harvest, newly planted fall spinach. Onions are drying in the fall sunlight and getting ready for storage. Golden tomatoes, egg plants ready for harvest.
