Today the conversation on mental health is brought to the forefront with #BellLetsTalkDay; but the mental health of our Fanshawe community should always be a c...onversation. You don't need to be an expert on mental health to make a difference for yourself or someone else. It's often the everyday things that make a difference; for example, asking "How are you" and "What can I do to help?" and being engaged in the response. It's knowing what resources are available to you and your friends when in need. It's taking time for yourself each day, maybe to get some exercise and fresh air or maybe to do something else you love. It's treating mental health like any other health issue. Being a student is not always easy, especially during a pandemic. It is easy to feel disconnected from everything that you usually rely on.
