Our favourite Peterborough street festival, Pulse, is coming up this Saturday! Find our local Code Mobile team between Simcoe & Charlotte to try out the banana piano and music robots, as well as learn about their free programs for teens and adults!

There's still time to register for this Sunday's free Artmaking with Processing workshop hosted by the Art Gallery of Peterborough and the Code Mobile team No coding experience required - or artmaking for that matter! This workshop will cover everything you need to know to give your computer a set of instructions to generate art for you. Hi everyone, we're currently looking for a dedicated volunteer or two to help us continue running workshops throughout the Peterborough area in the new year. At Canada Learning Code, we run coding and technology workshops for children, teens, adults, and educators in over 30 cities across Canada. Chapter Leads in these cities help coordinate and promote the workshops, as well as support on the day of. Training and resources are provided to Chapter Leads from the experienced staff at our HQ in Toronto, to ensure they have everything they need to run amazing learning experiences in their communities. We have another Girls Learning Code workshop coming up this Sunday, 1-4pm, where we'll be making video games with Scratch and our own video game controllers with Makey Makey! Registration is by donation and we provide all of the technology needed including a laptop if you can't bring your own.
