Here is another successful painting from one of my intermediate class students Pam Giancarlo. Well done Pam!Looks awesome! This week was about painting a landscape with a building in it. My students learned about creating depth in a landscape just by showing objects large in the foreground and small and less detailed in the back ground. Everyone seemed to really enjoy this subject. Great job everyone!

Introductory Watercolour Class Taught by Cathy Earle, professional artist and illustrator Online Zoom painting classes! Would you like to discover the art of watercolour painting? This class teaches you from the very beginning what you need to know to start painting.... This 6 week course will teach you how to mix all your own colours from just three tubes of paint and how to use these colours to render beautiful subject matter into works of art! This is two of my demonstrations for my 2 intermediate zoom classes of a sun setting in a snowy forest. A two week project. I loved painting the warm colours on the snow. My students enjoyed it too.

Had a great day yesterday morning with my Intermediate group! This class was learning about perspective drawing and painting brick buildings. My students used pen and ink with watercolour. As always I do a demonstration for my students to show them how to get started. Tips on how to achieve perspective when looking down a street and tips on easy ways to paint brick and architectural detail. I am always running classes throughout the summer and into the fall.... Beginners and Intermediate classes, meeting at different spots around the city. I also offer Zoom classes private and group more so as we get into fall and cant paint outdoors.
