Celebrating 75 Years of Service to the Community: The Leaside Heritage Preservation Society congratulates St. Augustine of Canterbury church and parish on the occasion of its 75th anniversary. Over the years, St Augustine's has made a major contribution to the religious and social life of our community. May that contribution continue for many years to come. This newly built home on 89 Sutherland Drive was featured for sale in the "Toronto Star" 90 years ago. Among its many features was an early version of home air conditioning. ["Toronto Star," June 5, 1931]
