On June 24, 1988 Theodore, Bernard & Associates Ltd. purchased the "Le Duc's Shopping Center". It has now been 28 years with the same owner. Mr. Leduc started ...off the property with a Grocery Store. Many of us remember the cattle being brought to the back for the slaughterhouse, selling fresh meat and poultry up front in the grocery section. Many of the older residents remember having their first summer jobs as packers. Many years later additional stores were added on and apartments were built on top. Today, Leduc's shopping center consists of 16 retail and office spaces, 12 residential apartments and a Chip Wagon located in the Parking lot.
