Thoughts from your "Voice of the Lightning" Today, March 26, most of us happily marked this date many months ago and were planning to be at the arena for the Provincials. Now the world has changed and our event was not to be.... We hope this post finds our hockey family happy, healthy and we encourage you to find something to smile about every day. We hope you have people to support you at this difficult time. So today we reminisce about the amazing hockey year it's been. It's a group effort thanks to the dedication of the players, coaching staff, and volunteers. Most of all, we want to raise a virtual toast to Rob and Heather Zintel for their tireless dedication to all aspects of organizing, finding sponsors and promotion of our awesome team. The hours that they've put in to create a great team and game experience for the fans is awe-inspiring. Stay positive and keep smiling. "Let's Play Hockey" will return. Brian & Carol Treadwell

Good evening to all our fans, It is with a heavy heart that I send this message. We have been advised by Hockey Canada, Hockey Alberta and the Ranchland League that all Lethbridge Lightning Senior AA sanctioned event are to be cancelled immediately, due to the public saftey concerns of the COVID 19. This will include practices, playoffs and Provincials. The Lightning Board is committed to the heath, safety and well being of it's players fans and volunteers.... I would like to thank all of our players, supporters and sponsors in and around our community who's commitment and dedication to this organization has made us who we are.
